The Blog

This blog is to keep track of my thoughts, writing, and research about the more academic topics I'm interested in. At the moment, these are:

18th- and 19th-century British history, particularly:

• The Franklin Expedition, 1845-1848 (portrayed in AMC’s 2018 series The Terror)
• Queer culture, on land and at sea
  

Medieval literature, particularly:

• Sir Gawain and the Green Knight, a 14th-century poem (which inspired the 2021 film The Green Knight)
• Anything and everything having to do with King Arthur and his court (Arthuriana)
